With the adoption of Act on International Arbitration in 2001, commercial arbitration in Turkey has reached the standards of UNCITRAL Model Law on arbitration. Karaman Law Firm is experienced in drafting and construing arbitration clauses in international contracts. Our lawyers have been involved in several commercial arbitration cases both as arbitrators (in ad hoc arbitration) or in representation of parties whereby they have efficiently adopted their litigation skills to the nature and rules of international commercial arbitration.

Our arbitration practice also involves the recognition of foreign arbitral awards in Turkey, which is a party to New York Convention on Recognition of Foreign Arbitral Awards of 1958.
